Trying to document how fast baby grows during that first year sounds easy but the days quickly become months and next thing you know, they are a year old! I created this Kalo Paani Mat to help with this by providing a mat baby can lay (or sit) on for these photos.
It's the perfect size to roll up and use as a changing pad or take to the park or beach for a little mat to sit on too!
This mat is slightly smaller than the original version for a more accurate depiction of the size of the average 12 month old baby - 76cm for boys, 74 cm for girls.
We chose this size because we often use growth charts to compare baby to the average baby size (think growth charts). Babies grow so quickly in that first year, itʻs a fun way to remember how big your baby was compared to the average baby. While what is more important is that baby grows steadily over that first year, itʻs always fun to have something to document for later.
