Aloha

The Keiki Dept was born shortly after the birth of my son in January 2015. What started as a hobby while I was on maternity leave grew into something more. I wanted more options for stylish boy accessories for my son. I didn't like the traditional bib cut and wanted cute bibdanas and blankets with some local flare. I also didn't want anything that cost an arm and a leg to purchase for a quick growing baby.

It took about a year before I dived fully into this shop. In April 2016, I invested more time and energy into the shop in hopes to share more with families around me and abroad. Each fabric piece is chosen by me specifically for the type of accessory it will be featured on. I have also been working on designing my own fabrics to feature! May 2016 marked our first release of our Shaka Muslin Swaddle!
